now in theatres

so i haven’t been seeing very many movies lately, which makes it rather surprising that of all the movies out in theatres currently, the only ones that seem worth seeing are already on my ‘been there, done that’ list. it’s really rather disappointing. i mean — every time i’ve been to the theatre, i’ve seen previews of movies i want to see. as such, i’m certain that movies do come out that are worth seeing. but why is it that over the past months (years?), there is never anything worth a damn?!

  1. Good question. Matrix had it’s points, and X-Men was pretty good (though I’m a comic geek, so I’m biased). Doesn’t help though that my viewing options are, of course, limited. But still, check out some of those wacky independent films rather than just waiting for Jersey Girl to come out.

  2. I’M UNDER THE SAD IMPRESSION THAT IT TAKES MORE THAN A KICK ASS PLOT FOR A MOVIE TO MADE ANYMORE. I THINK PRODUCERS AND WRITERS ARE REQUIRED TO WRITE IN AS MANY BLATANT INDORSEMENTS AS POSSIBLE. IT’S LIKE MAKING MILLIONS AT THE BOX OFFICE ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH ANYMORE, YOU HAVE TO MAKE MORE MILLIONS BY TURNING AN OTHERWISE GOOD MOVIE INTO A GLORIFIED INFOMERCIAL. BUT MAYBE ITS JUST ME.

DID WESLEY CRUSHER EVER COME BACK AFTER GOING WITH THE TRAVELER?
