coastalwave prepares for the holidays!
first, check out our festive portal site — my.coastalwave.net. the main site isn’t decorated yet, i don’t have any ideas on what to do with it. any suggestions?
also, we’re setting up streaming christmas music via apache’s mod_mp3, so any of our customers can listen to some holiday tunes. i’m configuring the bandwidth manager to allow them to access the christmas music without eating their purchased bandwidth, so someone with our 128k package can listen to our 128k stream and still have 128k of available bandwidth.
ok, i’m gonna be evil, but i just gotta say it:
bah humbug!
thank you, please drive through.
change the water to ice with snow on the top and icicles hanging from them
*shrug*
oh christmas wave… oh christmas wave 😉
i do like the my.coastalwave.net colors… perhaps use those on the main site?
the sadukie christmas skin will be up in december — all done, just need to switch it when i’m closer to xmas :p
maybe include presents or holly or snowmen or wintery things in the coastal wave logo?
just ideas…
a guy at work suggested christmas lights strung across the logo. i want to make it simple.
also, at our main downtown port clinton tower, we’re going to be stringing 2 long strings of green lights, attach them to the top of the tower, and string them down the guy wires. then we’re putting a big white star at the top. it will look like a christmas tree!
take pics of the tower — that would be cool to see :p
holly from the logo and i love duke’s idea of making the water ice! don’t go over board with red and green 🙂
