preparing for a fairly boring night. tv guide says there’s nothing worth watching on tv tonight (or rather, after looking at tv guide, that’s my conclusion). so i think i’ll rent a movie.

might i suggest memento or o brother where art thou? of course, it’s now 1:25am the next day, so these suggestions won’t mean a damn. even moreso if you’ve already seen them. *grin*
haven’t seen either. i ended up seeing “heist,” which i thought was a pretty good flic, and “don’t say a word,” which i could have probably done without seeing.
my dvd player wouldn’t read heist for some reason, but my laptop read it fine. so i had to hook my laptop up to my tv/stereo to watch it.
you might have to change your setup some cd’s are made in different areas and require a zone change on the dvd
it wasn’t a zone problem. the dvd had some muffed up markings on it. i’m not sure why my $450 dvd player didn’t read it, but my cheap laptop dvd player read it fine.
i saw snatch last night.

ah, the cheap theater. i remember seeing american psycho there with chip. everyone looked at us funny because we were laughing hysterically during the gory parts. *grin*
