  1. well, look at the pros and then look at the cons. weigh everything before drawing a conclusion whether it is a ‘good idea’ or ‘not so good idea’ after all.

  2. try volunteering your time. it’s lucrative. for *some* people.

    since i’m done with school, and don’t have much to do during the day, i thought i’d (key word:) volunteer my time at the 2003 us senior open at inverness.

    i went to the website, found a phone number, and gave them a call. i told them that i was willing to work monday, wednesday, thursday and friday from early morning until 4:00 p.m. saturday and sunday, i could be there all day. i was looking into working a first-aid booth, or marshall, or whatever they needed. then, the lady informed me of:

    “the volunteer cost”

    “what?”, i said. she told me that i had to *pay* $120 to volunteer my time.

    so, for my 30-40 hours of free work, i had to pay them $120 so i could wear one of their golf shirts, and get a nametag.

    i’ll be watching the tourney on tv….

  3. just as you now have to pay to post comments on this free web site.

    that will be $5, thank you drive thru.

  4. i’m proud to say that on our vacation this spring we visited 2 of the top 10 beaches in the country! #3 and #10.

    hawaii’s kaanapali beach topped this year’s list of “america’s best beaches,”
    rounding out this year’s list are no 2. florida’s fort desoto park;

    3. north carolina’s ocracoke island;

    4. hawaii’s hanalei bay; 5. florida’s caladesi island state park; 6. new york’s main beach in east hampton; 7. hawaii’s makalawena beach; 8. hawaii’s hanauma bay; 9. florida’s cape florida state park and

    10. cape hatteras in north carolina.

  5. i don’t think they call people that pay to “volunteer” volunteers… sounds kinda like sucker to me.
