spyware

i forgot to thank s.i.r. for infecting my machine with spyware. my box was so messed up in fact that i had to wipe and reload. what a pain in my ass.

as a joke, he installed bonzai, virtuagirl (and virtuagay), webshots, imesh, kazaa, hotbar, and who knows what ever bullshit spyware infested software.

thanks!

but, my nice clean install of xp is minty fresh.

  1. AD AWARE AND SPYBOT-(SEARCH AND BE GAY) HAD NO CHANCE AGAINST MY SPYWARE SKILLS. AFTER YEARS OF WIPING MACHINES WITH SPYWARE, I’VE A ACCRUED QUITE A LIST(TRAVIS TOO ;). I’M THINKING OF COMPILING A “SPYWARE GREATEST HITS” CD. THE AUTORUN WILL BE A VB SCRIPT THAT AUTOMATICALLY INSTALLS THEM ALL. I’LL LET YOU KNOW WHEN THE ISO IS AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD!

  2. two adaware runs with the latest definitions didn’t help. a bunch of legit stuff was broken after adaware did its thing.

  3. Did you kick sir’s ass clean back into the stone age for that one? Daaamn. Taking a screenshot of someone’s desktop, making it the wallpaper, and removing the icons… that’s a joke. Basically killing a working partition… that would invoke even the sanest person’s wrath.

  4. we did find new uses for gators e-wallet though. it helped us fill in bogus registration information to download some of the spyware

  5. two words: password and/or mac…preferably both…g3 and g4 towers are cheap…i keep meaning to get one but i have all this annoying legacy/game software i need to run…d’oh

  6. yeah, i have my screensaver set to about 2 minutes with a password set. it’s not one of my usual passwords that everyone knows either. 🙂

  7. this is one reason why my friend set a bios password to enable his system to power up, then another password to log into 2k and then to get into his “my documents folder requires another password (i dont know how…)
