comwavz has fallen!!

Findlay, August 27, 2004

ComWavz is no longer accepting new customers and will be discontinuing its high-speed Internet services, including email and web hosting, as of September 30, 2004.

The cutting edge wireless techonology that formed the mainstay of ComWavz’ plan to bring high-speed Internet to rural Northwest Ohio has proven to be incapable of meeting our growth needs. This makes our business plan unviable.

Existing customers will receive their September’s monthly Internet service free, but network support will be unavailable.

We at ComWavz deeply regret any inconvenience this will cause our customers.

  1. glad to hear that! what are they doing with their customers? any chance you can pick them up? now might be a good time to buy a billboard (or two). might cost a bit but if you pickup enough accounts it will be more than worth it

  2. Yeah, and my parents are wondering what they’ll do now that they’re so used to broadband. If there’s any chance you might pick up ComWavz’ customers in Kenton, I’ve got an entire town waiting for service.
