quickie before i head out to prepare for christmas #3…
my mom moved into a trailer several months ago. as a gag, i bought her a trailer hitch “in case she ever decides to move”.. everyone (but mom) got a huge kick out of it!
dad got a “books on tape” guide to organization as a gag. he thought it was a real gift… “oh, i’ll definitely use this!” “my ass you will!”
among my swag — a lawnmower and other yard tools (which i asked for), — lotr trilogy — auto-cleaning litter box (awesome!) — various gift cards to best buy and a local grocery store — random books and cd’s — spider man 2 dvd, which i’ve donated to my sister — cash — other random cd’s and books — and other misc shit.
dana and i are exchanging gifts when she gets here. she doesn’t have her “big gift” yet as a certain best buy employee didn’t pull through. one of her other gifts is stuck in kentucky…. freaking ups. 2-day air me’nards. heh! at least she has the shitty random things i bought to open.
and, of course, christmas is all about family. i get to see pretty much the entire ‘fam this year. it’s been rare ofer the past few xmas’s for that to happen, and i’m quite thankful.

not happy with ups here either… next day delivery for one of duke’s presents, and it’s still in lexington, ky
i can understand a 1 day delay because of the snow… but this long? if i knew that complaining to someone might help get some of the shipping money back, i’d go for it >:(

Fuck UPS… I’ve always hated them, even before I found out they were huge contributors to the republicans. Unfortunately, most shipping companies are.. FedEx, DHL, airborn… *le sigh*

today i got a package deliverd that i forgot i had even orderd. according to the invoice for the item the order was dated 12/1. they are hot on it this year.
