third (and fourth!) time’s a charm

i took my technician ham radio license last night, and this time around i passed it! only missed two questions…

when you pass one class, they offer you the option to also try and pass the test for the next class up as part of the same fee. so i figured what the hell… and in a strange turn of events, i also passed the general class test!! having never studied for it, mind you.

so i am now licensed as a general class amateur radio operator.

i took the extra class test as well, but the difference in difficulty between the general and the extra could be compared to the difference between eating a sandwich and discovering a universal cure for every disease known to man.
