scented spam

so today i opened my mailbox, hoping to find my new tnc, but no go. instead there was a single, lonely envelope from my friends at capital one.

they reeealy want me to have one of their cards. i get something almost daily. “your credit history pre-approves you!”

translated: “your credit history shows that you have run your cards up to the limit and paid outraegous interest on your balance for years before paying it off. we want you to do that with us!”

not gonna do it. wouldn’t be prudent.

i never even open them, but i opened this one for one reason. it smelled of ladies perfume. it was a very pleasant smell, and i opened the damned thing. promptly discarded of course.

so my thought of the day is…

have the junkmailers begun spraying their outgoing mail with perfume? if they don’t, is is not a brilliant idea?

or does my mail carrier just happen to be female…
