sunday — hamfest (took a break from v-day, dana slept in), geocaching
monday — mcdonalds in bed before i had to go to work. then a sales call to huron and finished the voicemail install in norwalk.

250 gig maxtor on clearance for $129. one left. it rings up as $189. much debate. finally they find the “right” drive — 8 meg cache instead of 16 — and i get it for $129. then their “computers are down” so they have to manually call in my gift cards. note that there was only one cashier, the line was looong, and i was holding up the works.

Stupid Best Buy part timers :o) If you were in Sandusky I hope it was one of the hot register girls. The Ultra16 drives are just a marketing ploy.. no real advantage. IDE is dead and the drive makers all know it. The Best Buy computer department is high on my list of things to conquest.
