oh, forgot to post an update on chip!
he can read and write now, establishing two-way communication with him. he cannot talk, but when reading a request to write his name, he wrote his name. then, he was asked to write his full name, and he did write his full first and last name!
he’s well on the road to recovery, and i can’t express how excited i am to see him making progress.
was chip in a car accident or something? i hope he gets better!
no, he just contracted viral meningitis and was found in a seizure one morning. i hope he gets better as well, he’s a good friend.
actually, it was bacterial, i believe, but who’s arguing? i’m just glad he’s getting better.
