i did a bit of computer and networkingwork for a local store that sells tv’s, appliances, etc… (custom kitchen deliverayay…)

instead of accepting cash, my traditional preferred form of compensation, i did a bit of wheeling and dealing.

yes, ladies and gents, mattopiaville now offers its residents and visitors a 42″ plasma screen. anyone care to help break it in with a ” junior movie night”?

i’ve obviously been watching more television and dvd’s than average. i’ll take this moment to mention two noteworthy programs…

deadwood — a “based on the truth” series about the wild west. when first hearing of it, i immediately discounted it due to my general lack of interest in “westerns.” it’s actually been very good. now if some asshole would return the episodes 5-7 dvd to blockbuster, i would be quite happy.

nova — i’ve never paid pbs much attention. but, being that i only currently get “off the air” high def, i stumbled across the nova episode on tornados. good, good stuff.
