i’ve been having some weird dreams over the past few nights. i had one last night, but unfortunately i don’t remember it yet. i’m going to start keeping a notepad handy so i can record my dreams when i first wake up, otherwise i seem to forget them.
anyway, i do remember one from a few nights ago. as i may have already mentioned, the bodyshop finally seems to have done something with my car. it sat in front untouched for about a month, and as of about 2 weeks ago, it’s finally moved.
so i had this dream that it really wan’t moved. in this dream, jill’s (girl i visited in north carolina, who was with me when i wrecked) dad came to ohio and stole my car from the body shop. he towed it back to north carolina so that he could fix it himself. so i went down there to see what the hell was going on. her house was a shack out in the middle of nowhere with like a billion phone lines coming into it, and he had a big but cluttered underground garage, where he was working on my car. there was a lot more to it later in the dream, but that’s all i can remember.
i also had a dream a few nights before where one of the upper managers at work died. i don’t remember anything about that dream other than that.

matt.. what do you think about dreams? do you think they can be representative of some subconcious thoughts or just the mind’s recycling process at the end of the day? i’ve done a lot of study on this topic and i’m always interested in hearing what people think.
also.. if you plan on doing any interpretation of your dreams, it’s best if you find a book and do it yourself. a lot of the associations that one finds in dreams come from personal experiences. it’s highly unlikely that someone else will know about those.
i wouldn’t try to interpret your dreams with a book at all… from the studies i’ve done on it, it’s much better to try to relate it to real life rather than see what the book has to say it signifies…
sure losing teeth supposedly deals with losing money, but it isn’t a fully “representative” world… dreams are a screwy thing to work with
hopefully your dreams will settle down a little 🙂
