send the webmaster of a kevin smith news site an old computer, and get some sweet swag. the operator of newsaskew.com needed an old computer for a linux router. i happened to have a p/90 lieing a’boot collecting dust, so i offered to send it to him and just charge shipping, and maybe some swag.
i was expecting maybe a bumper sticker or something, but i got a cd and vhs tape that are some type of jay and silent bob strike back soundtrack promos or something, some postcards, and other random shit that i haven’t sifted through yet. how cool.
i didn’t win the company costume contest, but i did pick up a few laughs, and i know at least one person voted for me (mainly because i traded her votes). the pics are supposed to be available tomorrow, and i’ll put them in the album when they are. the winner was dressed as a hawiian tourist, straw dress and all. my costume was significantly less complex.
i think i’m moving matt.sh and funkymonkey.net back to chocotaco. i think i may have actually decided to put solaris 8 on… (!!!!)
