well apparently i lied about having the car back.
i guess my step-mom bitched at my dad about me having my car back and her not having hers back. since i (certainly not purposely) wrecked her car, she feels that she should get to keep the cougar until the focus is finished.
so dad and i argued about it, and finally i gave in. therefore, i’m once again stuck with the taurus until the focus is done. i’m told it’s only about a week away, but somehow i doubt that.
needless to say, i’m really quite pissed off about the whole thing. she’s complaining about having to pay half of the focus payment and she hasn’t been able to drive it for 2 1/2 months. well i haven’t been able to drive mine for four months, and i pay the whole payment.
overheard:
a woman was telling her friend, “it is i who made my husband a millionaire.”
“and what was he before you married him?” asked the friend. the woman replied, “a billionaire.”
you should politely remind her that you — working and going to school — manage to pay for the cougar while you haven’t driven it in four months… and that she should be “adult” enough to handle paying at least half (if not all) of the payment of a car…
heck, car payments is a responsibility she chose when she decided to get the car…
yeah, she can have the car…..i’d keep the keys…
