hello all!
first, i’m going to buy a new mattress today! woohoo! i’ve been asking for a new mattress for christmas or birthday for years now. i finally gave up asking this year, and magically received a $400 banner mattress gift certificate in my stocking.

in addition, since nicky and i are close to the point of occasionally utilizing a mattress together, she’s going to help me pick one out. 🙂

and, for those geeks out there who are dating, married, engaged, whatever, check this article out. it’s about dating an industrial musician, but it deals a lot with synths and other music gear, so it can easily be applied to our hobbies and professions.
my athalon system is totally cranking, although i still can’t get the quake 2 demo to run, so i can’t test my framerate and show duke how my system totally blows his away. perhaps i should get a new video card first. radeon vs. geforce, opinions?
last but not least, i took the mozilla plunge and am posting this with 0.9.7.
