  2. well, i know there’s not much you can do, so this is mainly for anyone else’s benefit: 5 days after the initial outage, mail is gonna start bouncing.

  3. i know everyone is primarily concerned about chocotaco, but i really do have bigger issues to worry about at this point. personal sites for friends, although a service i really enjoy providing, takes second seat to my future.

    the plan is this, although it may change… i’ll be picking up chocotaco and moving it to our network. i’ll be putting a 128k bandwidth throttle on it. i’ll be renumbering it. everyone who wants to continue to host there will need to make some dns changes. i’ll have more information very soon.

    sorry for the downtime, but consider that i provide it for free, and the machine has served well for about 450 days so far (minus about an hour after a reboot).

  4. why do you think i keep offering to help?!?!?!? i wouldn’t be as frustrated if i knew what was going on, but as you say “defecation occurs”.

    i know you’re rakin’ in the mad dough while trying to go to sk00l. it’s most excellent!

    so, matt, when the time come, let me know what the new numbers are and, if you want, i will help everyone do the migration.

  5. matt- when i said that i was glad that chocotaco was unrelated it wasn’t concern cuz ithas been down… but more of a relief that that is one less thing related to this mess…. if there is anything we can do… call us please!!!!! you have all our numbers right??? 😉

    i just hope all your other stuff is going well. i’m also glad that i’ve got a cool friend like you who is willing to host a site for me. a lot of people don’t have that 🙂
